Water Damage?
One of the most important things is not to test the device or push any buttons if the device goes in water. Pushing any button makes the phone send power internally and it is sure to short out something. Do not push buttons!
Cracked Screen?
Often a cell phone or touch device still works after the screen breaks. That's because there are at least two layers. The touch screen sensor is under the first layer. If you continue to use it while it's cracked, you can damage it further and the repair will cost more. Best to get it in so we can fix it right away.

We are a locally owned and operated cell phone repair shop. We have lived in St Pete for over 45 years. We have a simple cell phone repair shop with low overhead and personal service. What warranty do you offer on repairs?
Warranty on all iPhone & iPad repairs, Samsung device repairs, and LG device repairs is 30 days. This a defective part and labor warranty to install a new one if needed. This does not cover, breakage, liquid damage or other damage from the customer.
How long will it take to fix my phone?
iPhone repairs generally take under 2 hours. Apple iPhone screen replacements can normally be done in 45 minutes. Samsung repairs can take longer because of the way the phone is put together.
Can I trade my phone in?
Yes, we do take trade in devices. We do not take trade ins if the device has been water damaged. They must also not have a bill, financed, lost or damaged
Do you buy old phones?
Depending on the phone, we buy older devices. We do offer recycling on all small electronics if they are not worth buying or trading in.

What does it cost to fix my cracked screen?
With so many devices, the cost can range from $60 to over $450 depending on the phone. Most iPhone repairs can be done for under $150. Samsung repairs on devices are normally higher because of the use of AMOLED screens. A quick evaluation over the phone can give you a better idea of cost.
What if you can't fix my phone?
Cases like this are on a buy phone and problem basis. If I spend more than 30 minutes to diagnose a problem that is non repairable, I do need to charge a diagnosis fee. If it is a simple " it's dead " and not repairable , I will just tell you that and offer a replacement option.
My phone won't charge. What's wrong?
In this case there are 3 average possibilities. A bad charging port, bad battery or main board damage. A bad port or battery are normally repairable. A bad main board calls for device replacement.
Do you have a loaner to use while my phone is being repaired?
We have loaners from time to time depending on what we have available. Sometimes the cell phone for a specific carrier is already on loan. Cell phones are tied to specific carriers and we have only a limited amount of loaner phones. T-Mobile and AT&T can use the same unlocked phone. Sprint and Verizon are separate .
Will my insurance cover phone repairs?
The only insurances we deal with is Square trade or your personal insurance, not the carriers.
Will you unlock my cell phone?
Yes. Depending on the phone, we have the ability to unlock cell phones.
Will you root my cell phone?
Yes. Depending on the phone, we have the ability to root cell phones.
Does rice in a bag work?
Putting the device in rice or in the sun may help dry it out faster but a closed bag holds moisture. If you decide to put the phone in rice, do not seal the bag. Even it doesn't survive the water, the data may be recoverable. Let us take a look and we might be able to save those irreplacable pictures.
